WHAT IS TCHOUKBALL?
Tchoukball is the fastest hand ball sport in the world today. Invented in the late 1960s, Tchoukball is a team sport of 7 players that unites athleticism, concentration, respect and teamwork. Tchoukball is an indoor team sport developed by Swiss biologist Dr Hermann Brandt who wanted to create a sport to reduce injuries, stemmed by his concern around the number of injuries in sport at the time. Tchoukball is unique in that it allows people of all shapes, sizes, genders, cultures, and backgrounds to play together.
Guildford Tchoukball Club, formerly FAST Tchoukball Club, were formed in 2010 and is based in Guildford in the South East of England.
Over the last 5 years, our two teams, Guildford Inferno and Guildford Ignite, have experienced extreme success in regional and national competitions, winning two back to back National League titles as well as representing the UK in European Club Competitions.
Many of the players have hence gone on to represent the national team, UK Tchoukball Squad, at European and International Championships.
